1 The date the email is sent is decisive when a deadline is specified.
2 Acknowledgement of receipt is sent by the school to all applicants.
3 Short-listed candidates are invited for an interview (by videoconference if the candidate is not in Korea).
4 Interviewed candidates are notified of the outcome of their application.
5 A job offer is made by the Headmaster and a draft of a contract is sent.
6 Once accepted, the proposal is submitted for final approval by the HR Committee and the President of the Parents’ Association acting as signatory of the employment contract.

Korean regulations for obtaining work permits and visas vary according to the type of employment. Personalized documents along with terms and conditions are communicated by the school to each employee. Subsequent dealings with the immigration authorities are individual.
The recruitment process is only finalized once the school has received the leave of absence certificate (for teachers holding a permanent position in the French National Education system), the contract has been signed by both parties and the work visa obtained.
A blood test is carried out upon arrival in Korea as requested by local authorities.
