If dropped off with Kindergarten students, older elementary school students may also join their class – on their own – via this entrance
THE MAIN ENTRANCE LOCATED AT 7, SEORAE-RO for elementary, middle and high school students, as well as for visitors. Elementary and secondary school students enter the facility unaccompanied to attend classes. Elementary school hours are 8.30 am – 3.15 pm with student reception starting at 8.20 am, while secondary school hours depend on the class schedule..

SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND BOOKS
To help families prepare for the new school year, you can download the complete 2026–2027 School Supplies Guide (PDF), which includes detailed supply lists by grade, summer reading assignments, and specific requirements for the SIA and BFI sections.
In primary school, primaire, school supplies are provided free of charge in the classroom. Families with children in kindergarten are asked to provide a spare change of clothes, a water bottle, slippers, and, if needed, a comfort toy and snack. From CP to CM2 (Grades 1–5), students only need to bring a school bag and a pencil case containing basic supplies (pens, glue, pencils, colored pencils, scissors, etc.).
In secondary school, the list of required school supplies and assigned reading materials (literary works and fiction)s prepared by each teacher and communicated in June. For the September intake, parents can order school supplies directly from LDE before the end of the school year. Orders are delivered to LFS and distributed at the start of the school year.
For LFS parents, the list of school supplies and textbooks, as well as the LDE ordering guide, can be found in EDUKA Documents after signing in to your parent account.
During the school year, additional supplies can be purchased through the Student Affairs Office: viescolaire@lfseoul.org.
Textbooks are loaned by the school at the beginning of the school year and must be returned at the end of the school year.
LATE ARRIVALS AND ABSENCE
If their child is due to miss school, parents should notify the school first by phone (02-535-1158) or by email (viescolaire@lfseoul.org), then on Pronote in the “Absences, Punishments” section.
In the event of late arrival, the student must report to the School Life (Vie Scolaire) Office and he or she will be guided to the classroom by an Education assistant. In case of absence due to illness, please also notify the nurse and specify symptoms at infirmerie@lfseoul.org.
Punctuality and attendance are an essential part of French education. Late arrivals and absences are therefore recorded in the student’s file throughout their education from Petite Section to Terminale. In the case of repeated late arrivals or absences, the Dean of Students (CPE) or the Primary School Director may request an appointment with the parents.
APPROPRIATE COMMUNICATION TOOLS
The LFS endeavors to provide optimal and relevant communication for each situation and message. Several tools with different purposes are available:
Pronote portal
serves as a schooling management tool for parents of children from Petite Section (Pre-K) to Terminale (grade 12).. Useful information include timetables, names and contact details of teachers and staff, assessments throughout the year, guidance feedback sheets, school reports, school lunch menus, assigned homework, information on school and class events, as well as, an absence and late arrival notification tool and an online chat with class representatives.

The LFS website
provides general information about the school, its educational approach and current events.
Eduka portal
allows parents to register / deregister students and hosts family contact details and data, extra-curricular activities and services booked, invoices and payments status, as well as a messaging tool to contact the school’s administrative services. Also available on Eduka is general school documents such as internal rules, minutes of board meetings, BCD / CDI charters, etc.
