Lycée Français de Séoul (LFS) warmly thanks its donors and partners who have contributed to the success and development of the school for many years.
LFS wishes to thank in particular the companies and institutions which contributed to the financing of the expansion and renovation of its buildings. This financial support totaling 2.6 billion KRW was decisive in the completion of this major project.
LFS is also grateful for donations made for projects and events during the school year. These donations are used to:
- build our funds for the Exceptional Financial Aid to help students so that they never give up an educational opportunity,
- upgrade and renew the scientific, technological and computer equipment used by our students,
- provide our students with outfits and sports equipment in the colors of LFS,
- increase the participation of our students in AEFE school projects in the Asia-Pacific zone,
- create and publish the Yearbook annually,
- encourage the implementation of cross-disciplinary projects, such as the one developed by Terminale students to promote gender diversity in 2020,
- continue the France Seorae project initiated and led by the Conseil de la Vie Lycéenne (High School Student Council),
- finance the annual Prom of the Maison des Lycéens (MDL), etc.
All these projects are important for the students and contribute to the dynamism and reputation of the school.

OUR PARTNERS IN SEORAE MAEUL AND SEOUL
LFS has been established for many years in the neighborhood of Seorae Maeul, where the majority of our students live. Associations and institutions participate in the life of the neighborhood as well as that of the school:
L’Institut français de Séoul
is in charge of implementing, on behalf of the French Embassy, joint actions by France and Korea to promote research, academic exchanges, artistic and cultural outreach as well as the promotion of the French language. The French courses organized by the Institute for children from 5 to 18 years of age are held at LFS.
The French-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI)
represents the French-Korean business community in Korea. It brings together more than 350 members, including over 200 French and Korean companies. The FKCCI regularly provides logistical support to the LFS, in particular during the conferences and debates called AZALEAS, organized with researchers and experts from major universities and international organizations.
Séoul Accueil
helps French-speaking families settle in Seoul and get to know the city. The association organizes social gatherings and events during the week and on weekends, thus contributing to the cohesion of a close-knit community. Feel free to contact them even before you arrive in Seoul.
Cercle Franco-Coréen (CFC)
is a women’s association for French and Korean speaking women who wish to share their cultures and explore together the treasures of Seoul. Events and activities are organized throughout the year for its members.
Seorae Global Village Center
is an information and assistance center for foreigners which is funded by the Korean government. The center located 5 minutes walk from the LFS offers a wide range of activities and information in French, English and Korean. Seoul hosts several Global Centers, in particular in Itaewon and Gangnam.
