Launched in 2019 and hosted by Mrs. John, our Primary School (BCD) librarian and a former journalist, and Mr. Leavy, one of our English teachers, Radio LFS has been very successful since its beginning.
Radio LFS offers students from CM1 (grade 4) to 5ème (grade 7) the opportunity to discover the different facets of a radio station: they learn how a radio works, the specificities of each format (interview, report, chronicle …), as well as the role and responsibilities of each member of the radio team.
They are responsible for choosing together the theme of the next radio show and writing the scripts, before tackling the technical aspect (recording, editing, producing a jingle, etc).
But no more words, let’s turn to our students’ broadcasts by clicking below
