Discovering sitting volleyball!
In order to make our students aware of disabled sports and the Paralympic Games, the 3ème and 1ère (grade 9 and 11) students took the challenge to play sitting volleyball:
- This Parasport that was derived from Volleyball was invented in 1956.
- The aim of each team is to send the ball over the net into the crossing space so that it touches the floor of the opposite side.
- a player’s buttocks must remain in contact with the ground at all times during ball contact. Players are forbidden to get up, to stand from the ground or to take steps
- pitch of 10 x 6 m, net height of 1.15 m for men and 1.05 m for women.
