The French School of Seoul (LFS) is proud to announce our « Summer Camp” for 4 weeks in July 2021. Our aim is to improve the child’s language competencies in English and/or French.

The morning session (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) will include activities to develop the child’s oral and written expression, helping to expand their vocabulary. 

The afternoon session (1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.) will reinforce language and concepts previously learned through artistic, scientific and sports activities.

For the morning programs, you must choose one language (English or French) that the child will use for the entire 2 weeks. For the afternoon programs, however, your child will be able to choose the language for activities of their preference each day.

The summer camp may be cancelled or its organization may be modified, depending on the COVID-19 situation.

Duration of the Summer Camp:

• Session 1: Monday July 5th – Friday July 16th, 2021
• Session 2*: Monday July 19th – Friday July 30th (to be confirmed, depending on the number of demands of the families)

Requirement: 

• Age: Kindergarten (age 4, born in 2016) to grade 5 of elementary school (age 10, born in 2010)
• Language competencies: we accept students from all levels in French competencies, from beginner to advanced

Registration Period:

• The registration for current LFS students is open from Wednesday, May 12 at 10:00 pm.
• The registration for external students is open from Thursday, May 20 at 9:000 pm.
• Please sign in to EDUKA on your computer, as the registration is not possible on the mobile version.

Registration Process:

1. Complete your registration on EDUKA for Summer Camp Session 1 and/or Session 2. (ref. Summer Camp 2021 Registration calendar)

2. If your registration is validated by the LFS team, you will receive an invoice to be sent at the end of registration period, including the terms of payment.
3. The payment must be made before the deadline (ref. Summer Camp 2021 Registration calendar) 
4. You will receive a confirmation email once the LFS team has verified the payment. In June, you will receive by email:
   1. additional information regarding the detailed organization of the summer camp,
   2. a medical form to fill out, and a list of documents to provide (vaccination certificates), then to be sent back to the school before the start of summer camp. Children will not be able to join the camp without those documents.

Summer Camp registration tutorial – external2

**Current LFS student means a student who is enrolled in LFS for the 2020-2021 Academic Year. External student means a student who is from another school or students who enrolled in LFS for the next Academic Year 2021-2022. 

Price (per 2 weeks, 1 session):

• KRW 500,000 for currently enrolled in LFS (for the 2020-2021 Academic Year)
• KRW 680,000 for other students (students who newly enrolled in LFS for 2021-2022 Academic Year & students from other schools). 
  • Attention! Only the full payment made before May 18th (for current LFS students) or before May 25th (for external students) allows you to validate a registration for the summer camp: without any payment before this date, the EDUKA registration will be cancelled automatically.

Cancellation:

• If you cancel the subscription after payment, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded. Once the camp will be started, no reimbursement will be possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Important notice:

• If the development of the coronavirus health crisis makes it impossible for the school to operate during the scheduled summer camp period, families would, of course, be fully reimbursed for cancelled days.
