Please find the necessary information regarding the back to school on September 1st, 2026.
Like last year, we will welcome students by different time slots .
We kindly ask you to pay attention to the time and place of entry into the school building.
Back-to-School organization 2026-2027
- Tuesday, August 25: Administration office opens
- Wednesday, August 26:
- – Pronote login ID and password to be send to new families by email
– School visits:- Kindergarten at 2:00 PM
- Elementary at 3:00 PM
- Secondary at 4:00 PM
- – Welcome and information meeting for new families online from 2:00 to 4:00 PM (zoom link sent the day before)
- Wednesday, August 26: Pronote portal opens at 6:00 PM
- August 27–28: Registration period for after-school childcare
- Uniform collection, time slots based on first of last names:
- August 27, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM: A to F
- August 27, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM: G to K
- August 28, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM: L to P
- August 28, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM: R to Z
- Saturday, August 29: Welcome picnic for new families at the Montmartre Parc in Banpo * (* at LFS in case of rain)
- From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for preschool and elementary families
- From 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM for middle and high school families
- Monday, August 31: Uniform distribution from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for families who missed the August 27 and 28 pick up dates.
- Tuesday, September 1: First day of school according to schedules (see tables below)
- Tuesday, September 1 or Wednesday, September 2: Distribution of secondary school textbooks and school supplies ordered via LDE
- Tuesday, September 1: After-school childcare application results published
- Wednesday, September 2: After-school childcare service begins
- September 15–16: Registration for Extracurricular Activities (AES)
- Tuesday, September 16 at 4:30 PM: Welcome meeting for new non-French-speaking families at LFS (CDI, secondary school document center, B2 level Deoksan building)

- Tuesday, September 8: CP & CE1 at 4:00 PM
- Wednesday, September 9: High School at 5:15 PM
- Thursday, September 10: CE2, CM1 & CM2 at 4:00 PM
- Kindergarten:
Entrance: All kindergarten students enter the school through the Asan entrance (Kindergarten Entrance). Each kindergarten student must enter the school accompanied by his or her parent, all the way to the classroom. The Kindergarten assistants are at your disposal to guide you in the Kindergarten building.
Exit: Parents must come to class to pick up their child.
- Elementary:
Entrance: All primary students from CP to CM2 (grade 1 to 5) enter through the main entrance (Kaehwasan), leading to the atrium. Each kindergarten student must enter the school accompanied by his or her parent, all the way to the classroom.
Exit: Parents must be there to pick up their child. Students from CP to CE1 exit the school from Jisan exit, and CE2 to CM2 students from where they entered the school.
- Secondary:
Entrance/Exit :
Secondary students from 6ème to Terminale (grade 6 to 12) enter and exit through the main entrance (Kaehwasan). They can enter and leave the school independently.
